American DebtWorks/ChekXcept is a collection company, in business since the year 2000. We collect bad checks, outstanding medical debt, student loans, unpaid store and commercial accounts, credit card debt, etc.
We are HIPAA certified, members of the ACA, our local Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals.
We offer unique collection services. We work as an extension of your business and custom tailor our services to meet the individual needs and requirements of each of our customers (presently serving over 250 clients). We are licensed in eight states; Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, West Virginia, Florida, Illinois and Wisconsin.
There is no expensive equipment to buy or lease with our services, and NO out-of-pocket expense to our clients. We do not get paid until your monies are collected for you. No collection, no charge!
Our customers range from small businesses to large corporations and we have a wide variety of clientele. We collect for jewelry stores, fuel and oil companies, supermarket chains, automotive repair centers, home improvement centers, auto parts stores, child care centers, waste management companies, veterinary hospitals and clinics, hardware stores, caterers, dentists, self storage outfits, flea market retailers and much more.
Some of our larger customers include Shop Rite Supermarkets, Cramer’s Home Centers, Foodtown Supermarkets, ShurSave Supermarkets, A&A Auto parts (NAPA), Ace Hardware Stores, UPS Stores and Dollar General.
We now offer our merchant clients a better, more secure way to accept checks from their customers, with the confidence that they are accepting good checks. Our ChekXcept(TM) Card (patent pending) Program is a network of good check writers. Cardholders present their ChekXcept(TM) Card when writing a check at a participating merchant at the point of sale. The merchant upon seeing the ChekXcept(TM) Card knows they are accepting a check from a good check writer, and the check writer is able to write a check hassle-free with only one form of I.D. – their ChekXcept (TM). No need to search for driver licenses, county I.D.’s, or any other form of I.D. at the point of sale! Hassle-free check writing for customers, and a safe way for merchants to accept checks with confidence. Even works with customers from out of state!!
